Once a candidate has been identified the assessment will be key to the initial success of the program.
•The website will be linked to a Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment tool (test).
•The MBTI test is a robust tool to help an individual understand how the individual views the world, gathers and processes information (how they learn), how steadfast decisions tend to be and a general view of preferences and or temperament in all things (what are their passions). We believe the MBTI will allow the nonprofit to achieve measurable success.
•The assessment will present three relevant educational paths, with a see more feature
Once a student has chosen an educational path a demographic/learning study will be required.
•Once the candidate selects a presented educational path, the site will walk the student through a Demographic/Learning Style Questionnaire (DLSQ).
•The DLSQ is to determine the student’s need to financial assistance and preferences surrounding educational environment
•The DLSQ will help drive a ranking of universities based on the student’s needs (cost, location, learning style
•The DLSQ will allow the student to weight categories such as cost, institutional accreditation/reputation, online or in-person, scholarship/grants etc.
Based on the DLSQ and MBTI data the student can be matched with an educational institution.
•Educational institutions we be presented after the candidate completes a DLSQ & MBTI
•The selection list of educational institution will be based on an order of importance defined in the DLSQ & MBTI
•Once an institution is selected a summary of the selection assessment will be compiled into a format that can be sent to the admissions department of the chosen institution
•Generaladmissions request letters will be also generated with appropriate data for admissions considerations with information as to why the student is a good fit for the selected program
Support key functions during the educational journey.
•Website to issue monthly questioners about the educational journey and notify support departments at the educational institution such as a guidance counselors office
•Auto generated questioner to gather data for resume building
•Monthly newsletter with top hiring companies in the field of study based on databased such as Glassdoor and Indeed
•In the final semester a personal student portal will contain a final resume and cover letter wire-frames for submissions for employment considerations
•Upon graduation the student portal will contain a list of employers hiring in the applicable field
Once education is complete, we have two parts to the puzzle: Passion & Knowledge, now comes application.
•The website must use data tools from existing and internal employment databases to define culture and fit
•Examples of existing databases might include Glassdoor and Indeed
•A student portal cover letter should include the Success University model so employers can have confidence in the candidate – passion/desire/motivation and education are in place
•Volunteer groups can work with employers and university job placement departments to help categorize culture with a cultural/environment questionnaire that can be housed on the student portal as reference material for determination/selection
When a candidate has been hired by an employer, the support continues.
•The candidate will have a lifetime career/education portal (LCEP)
•The LCEP will allow the individual to maintain a current educational journey and career milestones should the individual ever need to find a new career
•A continuous list of top hiring firms in the individual’s career path will be maintained within the LCEP
•The candidate will be able to enroll in 6-month reminders to visit the portal to maintain a current profile and see any opportunities not available upon graduation
General Overview
Success University, a nonprofit, in the State of Ohio, also known as passioninyou.org, is creating a troubled youth, intervention camp and event center. Many of today’s minority and underserved youth in Ohio, have no resources to learn the value or life, how to care for themselves, plan for their future, find education, find a vocation, care for a home, set goals, or have an opportunity to see the value of good nutrition and food sources.
Success University Inc. will create a structured program camp to address these gaps in our community. The Event center and camp will be constructed in a rural setting to allow attendees to see a working farm, learn the arts of growing and tending/caring for animals, engage in various outdoor activities and events. The Target location is in the Hocking Hills of Ohio close to Logan, Ohio.
The 25 to 50 acre track (property) will be home to an event center, an amphitheater, two 30 occupant dorms, two bath houses, a cafeteria, gymnasium, a horse barn, a cattle barn, a woodshop, and various other animal housing/pins. During a three-week camp, the attendees will be introduced to various natural sciences, and skills. The program will be regimented to create life preparation and engagement skills.
The camp will be staffed with various social services trained staff to oversee the mental progression and engagement of all camp attendees. The Camp will also be staffed by individuals trained/educated in natural sciences as well as future farmers of America. During the camp program the attendees will learn how to structure their day, the value of responsibility, green sciences, and a trust partnership with a big brother, big sister, or life coach.
Points of Focus/Goals
1. Teach the arts of intentional living to trouble and minority youth
2. Help youth develop life skills that will better prepare each youth for education and career identification
3. Introduce troubled youth to green sciences and natural sciences
4. Teach youth skills that will prepare them for education, career, and self-care
5. Teach life values and personality/social sciences and provide opportunities for mentorship programs

Although, this is not a handicapped friendly event, we will reserve some close to the event parking and we have rearranged our show layout to limit slopes, roots and stumps that the area can present. The use of wheelchairs, walkers or scooters are discouraged due to the natural setting this event is held on and that this remains a large event. With the changes in layout walking distance has been shortened, with added transportation (hayride) from the optional lower field areas, cooler temperatures, and improved parking coordination we strive to provide a wonderful experience in the Hocking Hills of Ohio. Spring is such a wonderful and beautiful time of the year in the Hocking Hills of Ohio. Area waterfalls will be flowing, and the area will be green, lush and in bloom. It is a wonderful time to visit the area and see the natural wonders of the southeastern Ohio foothills.
